What are the five types of joining methods then?



There are five common joining methods:


1. Butt joint: The edges of the panels are simply placed next to each other

2. Lap joint: One panel overlaps the edge of another.


3.The front-facing groove joint. So, what's the function of the front-facing groove? One, it adds a sense of style. Two, it provides a place for us to screw in at the groove.

4.So, the 4 type of joining method is the folded edge joint. It involves cutting a groove along the edge of the board and then folding it to create a small edge.

5.So, the 5 type is folding edge joint and steel hanging.

There are More common joining methods:


1. Butt joint: The edges of the panels are simply placed next to each other.

2. Overlap joint: One panel overlaps the edge of another.

3. Tongue and groove joint: Panels have interlocking edges, similar to flooring.

4. Miter joint: The edges are cut at an angle and joined together for a seamless look.

5. Corner joint: Used specifically for joining panels at corners, ensuring a neat finish.
