If a manufacturer of aluminium composite panels wants to surface treat their products,
they can use different methods, which we will look at below.
One method is electrophoretic painting,
in which the electrophoretic paint is dissolved in water to produce electrolytic charged particles,
and under the action of external electric field,
the charged particles move to the opposite pole and are deposited on the surface of the aluminium profile,
forming a dense and uniform film layer called electrophoretic paint.
Then there is the method of powder coating,
in which the powder coating is put into the spray gun and the powder particles are
adsorbed on the surface of the aluminium profile by high pressure electrostatic force under the action of compressed air.
In order to make the surface of the aluminium profile more resistant to chemical media,
the molecular weight of the resin used for powder coating is greater than that of the solution-type coating.
There is also a chemical method,
a process of forming an oxide film on aluminium products by means of additional current under the corresponding electrolyte and specific technical conditions,
which makes it easier for aluminium profiles to adsorb pigments, lubricants and other materials, making them more wear-resistant,
corrosion-resistant and aesthetically pleasing.
