The first method of pasting aluminum-Composite panels ACM, using double-sided tape and structural adhesive.
Today I will talk about the first method of pasting aluminum Composite panels, which is using foam adhesive and structural adhesive for sticking.
First, apply double-sided tape to separate. The function of this sponge double-sided tape is to provide initial fixation, but it tends to lose adhesion when exposed to outdoor sunlight and rain. Aluminum Composite panels mainly rely on structural adhesive to fix them to steel pipes. However, structural adhesive takes two hours to start curing and a full 24 hours to completely cure. If the temperature is low, the curing time will be even longer. After applying the double-sided tape, remove the protective film on top of it.
Second, apply structural adhesive. The height of the structural adhesive should be higher than the double-sided tape. Structural adhesive has the characteristics of high strength, glass-like appearance, resistance to ultraviolet radiation, and simple construction. It can adhere to materials such as metal, ceramics, plastics, and wood.
Third, stick the aluminum Composite panel, starting from one side and moving to the other. Before sticking, confirm the position accurately and ensure it is correct before pasting. After pasting, confirm the position again to ensure it is appropriate. Then, press and tap the aluminum-plastic panel firmly. When tapping, do not exert too much force to avoid deforming the aluminum-plastic panel. Repeat the same process for the next aluminum Composite panel.
